Publication and Grant Review Services (PGRS)
There are a plethora of journals and textbooks that serve to educate healthcare and the general population. There are also approximately 30 million grants submitted to government funding agencies (NIH, NCI) each year with additional grants submitted to private associations, foundations and special interest groups. Many of these organizations do not have the manpower or affiliations for thoughtful, cogent and effective review of these grants. The lack of such resources can introduce frustration and discord among grant writers where a thorough, fair and descriptive review of a submitted grant is expected. For funding agencies, this can result in decreased submissions and decreased ranking which can impact philanthropy and support to the organization.
PGRS is comprised of editors and grant reviewers with expertise in all manner of specialty in addition to budget and editorial support. PGRS provides facilitation with (a) publications (b) grantsmanship for the grant writer as well as (c) grant review for private and public funding agencies in a timely, cost effective manner in compliance with standard procedural requirements.
